Receivership Services
Charles Dunn Company has considerable experience serving as a bonded, court-appointed receiver for properties involved in legal proceedings. Several of our staff are court appointed Receivers and have the expertise to provide receivership services including asset valuation, marketing, due diligence and recovery of receivables.
During the receivership period, we serve as neutral officers of the court—providing carefully considered, interim management solutions and protecting the asset to maintain its value. Moreover, the receiver can add value to the property by determining what costs can be cut and how to enhance the property’s tenant base.
Charles Dunn Company’s Property Management Division is available immediately to work with the receiver in carrying out duties as established by the court pending the resolution of the dispute between the parties. Experts from the Brokerage Division are also available to recommend disposition strategies for the receivership property.
