Bill Boyd continued his 28-year career in commercial real estate by joining the Tri-City office of the Charles Dunn Company in January 2009. Prior to that time he had served with two other national commercial real estate companies. While he has always stayed active in representing clients throughout his career he also served as the Executive Vice President and Managing Director of the L.A. Metro region for Grubb & Ellis Company prior to joining the firm.
CAREER HISTORY
He made the transition to Grubb & Ellis in 1998 after being with CBRE for 17 years in that company’s Los Angeles and Glendale offices. In 1990, he was the top income producing office broker in the United States for CBRE and after two years at Grubb & Ellis Company he achieved the national distinction of the company’s “Circle of Excellence” designation.
Mr. Boyd has participated in leasing and sales transactions totaling in excess of over $1.7 billion and has been on the leasing teams of over 5.25 million square feet of office space throughout the Los Angeles area. No other office building broker has participated in as many lease transactions nor been responsible for the leasing of as much office building square footage in the Tri-City (Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena) office submarket.
He has occasionally been asked to author various articles regarding the local office market, is quoted regularly in local publications, and has been asked to speak at various local real estate forums.
