/ RESPONSIBILITIES
Throughout 30 years of real estate management, leasing and construction
experience, Christine Morendo has handled commercial office, retail, industrial, and
residential portfolios ranging in size from 500,000 to 20,000,000 square feet for
development companies, third party fee management companies, and institutional
owners. Her depth of knowledge includes portfolio management, high-rise office
projects, and mixed-use developments.
EXPERIENCE/EXPERTISE
Ms. Morendo initially joined Charles Dunn Company in 1990 as Regional Manager of the
Los Angeles Property Management Division. While serving in this capacity, Ms.
Morendo supervised a staff of portfolio managers managing over 20,000,000 square feet
of commercial and residential property. In 1998, she formed the Corporate Services
Division, providing consulting and facilities management services to major corporations.
The Division handles approximately 5 million square feet of commercial office, retail,
and industrial properties located throughout nine states. During her tenure with Charles
Dunn, she has obtained contracts from clients such as Bank of the West, City National
Bank, Wells Fargo Bank, Bank of America, Disney Regional Entertainment, Warner
Bros., CIM Group, Northern Trust, and the City of Los Angeles. Due to the ability to attract and retain business from
high profile clients, Ms. Morendo has consistently qualified as one of the Charles Dunn
Company's top performers, receiving the New Business Development Award for 2008.
Prior to joining the Charles Dunn Company, Ms. Morendo was Vice President of
Property Management for Transpacific Development Company. In her capacity as
department head, Ms. Morendo supervised over 70 employees managing over 7 million
square feet of mixed-use office, industrial, and retail space located throughout California
and Hawaii. Additionally, she served on the Management Committee, which made policy
decisions for the company and as part of the development team for each new project.
Prior to her involvement with Transpacific, Ms. Morendo was District Manager for
Dillingham Development Company handling a 250,000 s/f office building in Westwood
and 1,000 multi-family apartment units in the Playa del Rey area. She also participated
with the marketing and development teams on two (2) luxury condominium
developments located in the Lake Tahoe area.
PROFESSIONAL & EDUCATION ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Ms. Morendo holds a Bachelor's Degree in English from the University of California,
Los Angeles and a Salesperson's Real Estate License. She is a Certified Property Manager and recipient of the Henry G.
Beaumont "CPM of the Year" award in 1991 from the Institute of Real Estate
Management (IREM) for outstanding contributions to the real estate industry.
Maintaining an active role in the real estate industry, Ms. Morendo is currently a member
of the Board of Directors of the Building Owners and Managers Association of Greater
Los Angeles and formerly served as Chairman of the Board during 2001-2002. She is
also a member of IREM, IFMA, and the L.A. Board of Realtors. |
