The American Industrial Real Estate Association is a
non-profit corporation formed in 1960 for the purpose
of fostering knowledge, integrity and efficiency in
the field of industrial and commercial real estate brokerage.
The A.I.R. is recognized as a "working organization,"
visibly and constantly engaged in professional, community
and government activities.
Building
Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International
BOMA International was founded in 1907 as the National
Association of Building Owners and Managers. BOMA's
North American membership represents a combined total
of more than six billion square feet of office space.
The association assumed its present name in 1968 as
it broadened its reach to include Canada and participants
from around the globe. Today BOMA International represents
84 United States, ten Canadian, and seven overseas associations
in Australia, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, the Philippines
and South Africa.
CCIM
A Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) is a
recognized expert in the disciplines of commercial and
investment real estate. A CCIM designation is an invaluable
resource to the commercial real estate owner, investor
and user, and is among the elite corps of 4,700 professionals
across North America who hold the CCIM designation,
the "Ph.D. of Commercial real estate."
Department
of Real Estate, State of California (DRE)
The primary objective of the Department is the protection
of the public interest in regard to the offering of
subdivided lands, real property securities and the handling
of real estate transactions by licensees. At the same
time the Department is protecting the public interest
and increasing consumer awareness, it collaterally assists
the real estate industry in expanding its standards
and level of professional ethics and responsibility.

International Council of Shopping Centers
Founded in 1957, the International Council of Shopping
Centers (ICSC) is the global trade association of the
shopping center industry. It's 38,000 members include
shopping center owners, developers, managers, marketing
specialists, investors, lenders, retailers and other
professionals as well as academics and public officials.
