Summary

Christine Chandler Tillett serves as Human Resources Director and Risk Manager for Charles Dunn Company. In her Human Resources leadership role, she serves as the final escalation point for complex employee relations matters, including performance management, workplace concerns, and conflict resolution

In her role as Risk Manager, Christine helps ensure company policies and practices comply with applicable local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations. She is also responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential organizational and operational risks, with a focus on protecting employees, minimizing exposure, and promoting workplace safety across the company’s portfolio.

Experience

Christine brings more than 40 years of combined experience in Human Resources, insurance, administration, and risk management. Prior to joining Charles Dunn Company, Christine served as Human Resources Director for The Marcole Group, where she was responsible for supporting a workforce of more than 1,000 tutors participating in the federal No Child Left Behind program.

Her extensive insurance industry background also includes serving as Vice President of Administration for Workmen’s Insurance Group.

Education

Christine earned her Associate of Arts degree from San Jose City College and continued her studies at San Jose State University. She also earned a Human Resources Management Certificate from California State University, Dominguez Hills.

Credentials and Professional Affiliations

Christine is an active member of the International Association of Insurance Professionals (IAIP) where she served as past Regional Vice President in 2023-2025 and is a member of the International Risk Management Institute (IRMI).  She holds several insurance and human resources designations.
